QUICK TIP: Sharing a Google Form

Creating a form is a super efficient way to gather information from people. You can use forms to get information about a new group of students, parent/guardian information, permission slips, and even create quizzes. When you want to share a created form with an audience, especially if you are sending the form to people outside of the school district, there are some tweaks you need to make. Sharing Videos with Students

Many districts (including my own) have restrictions set up for videos that are accessible on YouTube. With good reason, too; there is a lot of garbage out there. However, there are a lot of great resources available on YouTube, and often teachers come across a great video to share with their students and they are left with few options to be able to share the video with the kids. Here are some suggestions to make this a little easier. Step 1 - Is the video worth showing? Step 2 - Check to make sure it is accessible at school Internet filters and computer or chromebook restrictions do a good job at preventing users to access undesirable material (sometimes too good). Creating Assessments with Edulastic

Edulastic is a fantastic tool to easily create and share assessments with colleagues. It also integrates with Google Classroom nicely, making managing your classes a breeze. Similar to Galileo, there are question banks available, and it is easy to create assessments using multiple choice questions, short answer questions, open-responses, and more. Unlike Galileo, or any other online assessment tool available that I have seen, Edulastic has the ability to create what is called a "SnapQuiz". The short story on that is that you upload a PDF of a quiz that you have normally given to students by copying, passing out, and them completing using pen or pencil. SnapQuiz allows you to embed the multiple choice selections, or text for students to answer digitally.
